Sex and The City - A Farewell

I’m halfway watching a farewell episode for Sex and The City, and it has just brought me back to thinking about the magic of the series. I was first introduced to SaTC by J (thanks, woman!)…and I fell in love with the series by the end of the first episode. It was funny. It was touching. It was about sex. It was frank. It was amazing.
One of the things I love most about the series are the witty comments that Samantha makes…her ’sex-puns’. And the clothes! The clothes are absolutely amazing. I love Charlotte’s ladylike clothes and Carrie’s quirky clothes. How much did you want to wear Carrie’s poofy grey dress (the one she falls asleep on in Paris)…?!? And how about the Malono Blahnik shoes? And the season with flower corsages? *Drool*
And the mysterious Mr. Big and the charming yet distant Aleksandr Petrovsky? *Drool again* At one point while watching SaTC, didn’t you just wished that you had a boyfriend just like Mr. Big or the Russian? To be able to experience the heady rush of Carrie’s up and down love life and wear her gorgeous clothes?
What a show….and I doubt any other will ever be able to fill the Manolo Blahnik’s this show has left behind…
