Yesterday was the first day of work after a week’s holiday…absolute capital T-orture. I was sleepy and grumpy, and Monday’s badminton left me aching all over. Luckily, hubby could get off early and we left at about 6.30pm to go to Low Yat Plaza to sell off my O2 XphoneII…yes, peeps…I bought a new phone! (I bought the very one that I said I wouldn’t buy…talk about eating back my words indeed…*gulpchewburp*). My O2 was really giving up on me, or rather I was really giving up on my O2…it kept on hanging, sometimes when I receive SMSes (which means I have to restart the phone and sometimes, this causes the SMS to disappear!! WTF?!?), and even worse…when I try to unlock the keylock! Can you imagine, you’re trying to make a call and your phone is literally locked. Gah. Anyhow, it’s gone…gone…gone!
How I got my new phone is another long story that involves an unexpected one hour jam (stupid road closure!!), the basement parking in Low Yat being closed, having to park at a super dodgy hotel nearby that locks all it’s doors including it’s fire escape doors…*pulling hair out*. Anyways, a big big thanks to KK & wife for patiently waiting for us and accompanying us around Low Yat to search for the best price offered for that phone…=))
Back to last night…after dinner at Sri Hartamas, we went back home and I quickly showered and excitedly sat down in front of my compy to start downloading stuff for my new phone only to find that THE BROADBAND IS DOWN. WTF indeed. Obviously nothing to do with our router, etc. etc. cause we tried dial-up and couldn’t connect onto any website either. Was jumping up and down praying for a miracle…but nada. Crap.
Would be tempted to change to Jaring if we didn’t have to install another phoneline. It better be a-ok by tonight, else I’m calling up the TMNet office to bug them nonstop…
Anyways, I spent the rest of the night bugging hubby to create mp3 ringtones for me instead…

This is what happens when I fail to fulfill my 2005 New Year resolution of going for yoga…
No, I didn’t go for yoga…but I did end up playing badminton with hubby and some friends on Monday morning (if standing in the same position and ducking whenever the shuttlecock comes flying past me counts as playing badminton…then yeah, I played!). Woohooo…felt so energetic and healthy after that. Until the pain set in, that is. I woke up this morning with aching joints all over!
Though I did lose like 0.25kg…or maybe that was because of the stupid Mocha Latte I drank on New Year’s Eve that left me with a horrible tummy ache the whole on New Year’s Day…? Nah…I prefer to think it’s because I….E.X.E.R.C.I.S.E.D. *grin*
