Food review: Chocz
Tried it? Rate it!
Hubby and I were at KLCC shopping for new clothes for CNY one weekend when hunger pangs struck (hey, shopping IS tiring, ‘k?)…and since I was so tired and bored of eating at the same few shops that we frequent during lunch time, we decided to try some place new…which was how we ended up at Chocz (it’s located on the 3rd floor, near to Isetan’s entrance).
We took our time deciding what to have (there were so many tempting choices…if you’re on a diet, don’t eat here!)…hubby finally decided to go for a banana milkshake (boring! Haha…), while I ordered their…oh darn it. This is what happens when I don’t write the name of the dish down and I don’t blog about it immediately!! Anyways, it’s a grilled banana thingy with vanilla ice cream, waffle, and mango sauce.
Hubby’s banana milkshake arrived first…I took a tiny sip and regretted it immediately. Way too dilute for a milkshake…=( Too…milky…if there’s such a thing. My dessert thingy took quite some time to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The bananas were sweet and had a very melt-in-your-mouth texture, while the dusting of cocoa powder offset the sweetness of the mango sauce and the vanilla ice cream. Very very nice! Especially nice when piled onto the waffle and eaten in one big mouthful…

Would really like to go back to try their hot chocolate (they have it in dark chocolate…woohoo!) and their other desserts. Yummy! Oh…one thing though…the service is kinda slow…=(
