Is it worth it?
This past week has been horrendous. Absolutely horrendous. I’m hanging on to this job by a thread. A very thin one. Work has never made me emotional enough to walk out of a meeting room. That was Tuesday. A piece of news I heard on Wednesday made me break down in the car on the way home.
I’m physically exhausted, mentally drained.
Someone show me the light at the end of the tunnel coz I really can’t see it.
And it’s back to work tomorrow.
This can’t be all there is to life.

Hiya…yah…I’m ok. If tired and frustrated (that didn’t come out sounding quite right…hehe…) can be counted as ok…sigh. Don’t worry, will get through this…am not the only person in the world going through this sort of phase, am prob the only one whining about it on the world wide web!
Really do wish you were here girl…miss your presence ALOT.

wish you mentally, emotionally and physically strong! you are hanging by a thread but not to worry, we have got a net or rather a thick bouncy mattress at the bottom to “catch” you if you ever fall. hey, if you know the thread is gonna snap, all you need to do is YELL! before you know, you would be pulled up already, hubby and all ever ready standing by for the rescue!
AudiTT will vroooommm to the rescue too!

Hope things will be better for ya. I’m not saying that it will just suddenly, miraculously change.
But, just take it a day at a time, or else you’l just snap.
And really, I can see there are lots that care for ya! =)

hey dear….i know that you’ve been pretty busy lately but didn’t know that it has been getting you so down. i’m sorry to hear you haven’t had a good week. there is so much more to life than work. remember what you once said to me when i was working late? “go home, work will always be there”.

All, thanks for your messages, sms-es, phone calls…I feel really touched, I do. I’m trying to hang in there as long as I can…trying to learn to take it a day at a time, and not take work like it’s my entire life. Slowly but surely, I hope I’ll get there.
AudiTT: Miss you being around…but am glad you seem to be enjoying yourself Down Under! Wine tasting and all…hmpph…when do you actually do any work?!? =)
Mei: Thanks for your message…=) Yes, I really feel grateful that I have this ’support group’ here…what would I do without ‘em? These are people who have worked at the same company before and can relate in a way no one else can…!!
Jaclyn: Haha…busy doesn’t describe it. But I’m forcing myself to take it easy now. Talk about not practicing what I preach, right? =) And ’shop with’ sounds good…hehe…though my hubby might think otherwise (and he’ll prob cut all my credit cards before I leave the house!!)…
