Lazy lazy me
Ugh…I took a day off today and I still feel as tired as ever. Feeling quite lazy to blog…so in point form:
Today:
1. Went to MakanSutra @ Plaza Damas for dinner. Waiter sat us down, gave us the menu and came to take our orders in less than 5 minutes. Hello?!? Told him to give us 5 more minutes…guess what, he came rambling over in less than that. Sigh. Food was so-so only. Worse thing? The table top was so dirty that when I used a white tissue to wipe it, the tissue turned grey. And I’m not kidding. Definitely not going back.
2. Went for an impromptu lunch with M @ Cafe de Kowloon at Hartamas…nice cause M is always fun fun fun to be with (woman, please get your blog up and running!!!)
3. Went for a cut, colour & treatment at The Lab that lasted three hours…I was nodding off every 5 minutes…
Yesterday:
1. Went to Sao Nam @ Tengkat Tong Shin for lunch. Too bad was too stuffed to have dessert….Banana Freeze….*drool*
2. Got dragged to Low Yat coz hubby had to repair his computer monitor.
3. Spent the night catching up on Desperate Housewives 2 episode guides.
4. Ate some strawberries…*grin*
Monday:
1. Paid the deposit for an apartment in Mont Kiara…first investment with hubby!
2. Conducted my first interview…don’t know who was more nervous, the interviewee or the interviewer!
Sunday:
1. Watched Derailed…so predictable.
2. Had yummy ‘Chee Chong Fun‘ from Midvalley…but still think the one at Taman Tun is much much better.
3. Tried the ‘Blood Type’ cafe at D’sara Jaya. Naturally, lots of jokes were cracked on the way there…ie…if blood type O people aren’t supposed to eat chicken, will we get thrown out of the restaurant if we insist on eating chicken?? What if blood type O people can only eat lamb (I don’t eat lamb)..?!? Anyways, no such nonsense there…you can eat whatever you want, just that there are recommended dishes for certain blood types. I had Butter Chicken (similar to butter prawns)…not bad, though the chicken tasted a tad bit raw (!!!), hubby had Chicken Chop (huge!) and we shared a plate of fried mushrooms (I wanted another starter - forgot what it was now - but it wasn’t recommended for our blood type…darn!). Would like to go back there to try other dishes…
Saturday:
1. Went for dinner at Greenview with colleagues. Saw Alan Tong there (owner of Bukit Kiara Properties, and reigning ‘Condo King’).
2. Played with Photoshop after dinner (switched a couple of colleagues faces around…would publish it here except I’d probably get an earful…hehe…)
3. Played Mahjong…I lost…=(
4. Went back to work…=(
Sigh…can’t wait till this weekend…am taking Monday off so it’ll be a nice four day stretch of freedom…woohoo! =)
And I really REALLY want to go for a holiday. Again.
