Cava, Alexis, mahjong and macro lens
Dinner at Cava (Thanks, ES & M!): Food was pretty nice, but the whole place was empty! On a Saturday night! I’d be worried if I were the owner…
We had bruschetta for starters…mushroom, tomato and…I think it was oysters and cheese…and for mains:
M & I shared a seafood paella
while ES had lamb
and hubby had butterfish with mushroom risotto.
Desserts at Alexis @ BSC: Yummy desserts after dinner! M had a slice of chocolate cake that came with pecan(?) nuts and a (small) scoop of vanilla ice-cream, ES had the yummiest one of all - a fruit meringue, hubby had a steamed chocolate sponge-like cake, also with ice-cream…and I had peach and banana crumble, which was the least tasty of the lot. Didn’t take any photos though…
After dinner entertainment…mahjong!!!!
Fun fun fun as usual (hehe…of course fun lar…I won!)…*grin* The sound of the tiles are just sooo addictive. Played almost 4 hours straight, by the time they left, my arms were actually aching!
Oh…and the macro lens. Hehe…the latest addition to our camera family: a 60mm f2.8 macro lens!! Played around with it at Cava and back home on Saturday night…here are some of the pics we took…

oh i’ve been to cava and must say i rather liked it cos it’s so secluded. but yeah, i’d be rather worried if i were the owner!
