My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Just got back from watching this show…and I reaaaally don’t know what to say. On one hand, it’s funny. At times. But on the other, I keep getting the feeling that I’m watching some teenage B-grade comedy movie. Uma Thurman looks old as Jenny Johnson, and just a-ok as G-Girl…not as hot as you would expect. Luke Wilson just looks…fat. The effects are overblown, the ending is predictable, and Anna Faris (from Scary Movie…err…1, 2, 3 and 4?) looks so spaced out that even hubby commented she looks blur.

And as usual, the censorship board did their usual great job. Kudos to them for not censoring the headboard banging scene though…that must’ve taken quite some self-restraint.

Thumbs down from me.

After that one day of leave, I thought I’d feel all refreshed and ready to go back to work.

I was so wrong.

I had to literally drag myself out of bed (actually, how do you drag yourself out of bed??)! Nevertheless, I got to work just 5 minutes late wearing my cherry-red MNG dress and my new matching earrings. The dress is so cute…it made me feel good wearing it! More about that later…

It’s addictive, I tell ya! Lesson 5 continued straight into lesson 6 with another bead weaving piece…this time, it’s a choker! It wasn’t so easy making this one as we used the nylon thread which was more springy than the thin wire, so keeping the beads tight was quite a task. After I finished the necklace, I realized that I should’ve used the dark beads outside and the lighter ones inside…but that’s the beauty of knowing how to do this, you can always take it apart and redo everything!

Other than figuring out the pattern, weaving the beads ain’t so hard…;-) Lesson 5…a pretty bracelet…I’m trying to decide if I want to replicate this in pretty pinks and whites…Swarovski crystals, of course!
