Terrorists never fly first class

Mon, 09 Oct 2006, 09:45 pm

It’s probably gonna be my one and only time flying first class…hehe…so I’m gonna savour the memory!

Priority lounge for check-in.

Two pieces of hand luggage per person.

Free food at the lounge…didn’t take piccies…*shy* But got Ben & Jerry ice cream. And satay. Yum yum!

Stewards and stewardesses that address you by name.

Huge seats that have electronic switches to recline the back of the seat, raise the leg rest, lengthen the leg rest (don’t need for a shortie like me), and one more switch that resets everything back to normal for take-off and touch-down.

Plenty of leg room…me so short that my feet couldn’t even touch the seat in front when I stretched ‘em fully out)…

By far the best airplane food I’ve had on an airplane (and you know how they only serve drinks in cattle economy class for a KL-Singapore-KL flight): Chicken mayo wrapped in tortilla with cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper, proper napkins, and get this…real cutlery!

And between SIA and MAS (went to Singapore via MAS, back to KL via SIA), SIA wins hands down. Just like their website.
