The weather on the day we left Queenstown was really bad…gloomy and overcast. After stopping by at Shell to top up the petrol (we had to refuel the car before returning it to Hertz), we drove to the nearby airport…and was really surprised to see how small it is! Anyways, upon reaching, we found out that our flight might be cancelled because of the bad weather. In the end, we were lucky that it ended up just being delayed…else all our plans might’ve gone down the drain!

I’m sure by this time, you guys are as bored reading about this as I am writing about it…haha…but for the sake of completing the whole trip…here goes…

Went up the Skyline Gondola early in the morning and had breakfast at their cafe before venturing outside to take some photos. Saw The Ledge, another AJ Hackett bungy jump…looks much scarier than Kawarau coz you’re jumping down into solid rock!! If you watched Amazing Race Asia last week, that’s where the contestants went for their first Roadblock.

Taking a break from my NZ posts (3 more to go!)…

1. Ordered Moo cards!
2. One more working week to go till my break…woohoo!
3. Went crazy at Ikea buying storage stuff…the house is super-neat right now…
4. Got a slight sore throat…
5. Tried the Strawberry Mille Crepe…it’s the nicest out of the four flavours available (and tried!)
6. Am so tired from gym on Saturday. Z said to eat more protein after the sessions…so I went to buy KFC. *heh*
7. Watched “The Battle of Wits”…I liked it!
8. Watched “Eragon”…I hated it!

Pfft…time to sleep!

I woke up groggy and tired and dragged myself to the bathroom to wash up while hubby happily snored away for another 30 minutes. Guys…how do they get ready so fast?!? Well, I managed to get dressed just in time for us to rush downstairs to meet the bus that was taking us to Milford Sound.

Hmmm…come to think of it, all we did on Day 11 was to sit in a bus for 8 hours (to and fro), and a boat for 2 hours…*grin* This is gonna be one short post!

We started off the tenth day of our NZ holiday with a short photography session at the lake…

…followed by a hot breakfast at Tango’s Cafe where I had French Toast with bananas and bacon, while hubby had their big breakfast. As with almost all the breakfasts that we’ve had so far…it was delicious!
