…to my slowly growing *gulp* La Mer collection:

The Lip Balm

lm_22tk_246.jpg

Thinner than any other area of the face, the lips are virtually defenseless against subtle changes in wind, temperature, dryness, even diet - requiring special attention. The Lip Balm infuses a potent concentration of the original Miracle Brothâ?¢ with marine extracts, botanicals and vitamins to regenerate the delicate lip skin.

This luxurious emulsion works on contact to soften roughness, relieve dryness and flaking and help heal seriously dry lips. A patented Lip Lipid Complex is the first line of defense. It delivers moisture, strengthening the lips’ minimal moisture barrier and helping to prevent further damage. An essential protein found in the arctic helps insulate vulnerable lip skin from extreme conditions of heat and cold. Mint comforts the lips and enhances the balm with a cool, refreshing flavor. Like Crème de la Mer, the results are immediate â?? lips look and feel smoother, softer, plumper â?? yet long lasting.

Don’t know about all the mumbo-jumbo above…but this lip balm smells exactly like After Eight chocolate…seriously minty! I just need a very small amount…warm it up between my fingers and pat onto lips. Lips feel softer and more moisturized immediately after use. And it comes in a flat pot that I can tuck into my small make-up pouch!

The SPF18 Fluid

lm_23r1_246.jpg

Dr. Max Huber understood the power of light. Just as plants need sunlight to thrive, there are energies within the light spectrum necessary for our well-being. Utilizing this principle, The SPF 18 Fluid captures beneficial light while diverting potentially damaging light. Designed for daily use, this water-borne formula absorbs instantly into the skin to provide broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. A trio of natural and sea-derived ingredients uniquely benefit the skin. Gemstones absorb light energy, transforming it into beneficial green light to enhance anti-oxidant activity. Photonic spheres within The SPF 18 Fluid redirect and diffuse light. Smart, light-reactive seaweeds impart natural humectant properties to bind moisture - preventing dehydration. Worn over Crème de la Mer, The SPF 18 Fluid acts as a generator, actually boosting its efficacy.

No conclusion about this yet…I decided to buy this since I’d just finished my Advance Protect Essence UV from SKll, and both of it costs the same price!
