I first heard about this place from my dad, and read about it in a review as well as on Boo’s site. We headed there with my parents on Chap Goh Meh to give it a try. It’s located at the first floor of the Sime Darby Convention Centre…definitely not somewhere you would normally go past, so unless you’ve heard or read about it, it’s unlikely you’d ever find this place!

The food wasn’t anything spectacular…I would say it’s above average. Haven’t tried the dim sum as reviewed by Boo, but I definitely loved the Mango cream dessert!

The entrance to China Treasures

Fried fish with Thai sweet sauce
img_1224.jpg

Chicken in Lotus Leaf…this was my least favourite dish as it tasted really bland
img_1229.jpg

Fried prawns with mayonnaise. This was really good for the first few bites, but after two or three, you’d probably feel jelak (sick?) of the mayo!
img_1231.jpg

Kai lan with garlic…yummy!
img_1235.jpg

Sea cucumber (stuffed with what, I don’t know…coz I didn’t try this dish)
img_1230.jpg

Tau foo faa…unfortunately, the soya beancurd tasted rather bitter!

Mango cream dessert…nice nice!

To get there, turnoff Sprint highway towards Kiara/Hartamas area. Keep left and turn at either the KLGCC turnoff, or the one after that. The signs are really easy to follow, unlikely that you’ll get lost. Call 03-20893788 for reservations.

I do enjoy the way you have framed this concern plus it does give me personally some fodder for thought. Nevertheless, from just what I have witnessed, I simply just hope as the actual opinions pile on that individuals keep on issue and not start upon a soap box of some other news du jour. Still, thank you for this outstanding point and whilst I do not concur with this in totality, I respect the standpoint.

Something to say?
