Monthly mags you can’t go without
Ages ago, my monthly list of must-buy mags used to be just Cleo (been reading this since I was in college!) and Female.
Lately though, I’ve realized that the list has grown. Every month, I *must* have the following:

1. Cleo (I’m getting too old for this, though!)
2. Female
3. Women Weekly (M’sian edition)
4. Hot
5. OK! (M’sian edition)
6. Klue
7. Digital Camera
And if hubby doesn’t buy his usual tech magazines so that I can *steal* from him later, I’ll probably also get:
8. Stuff
9. T3
On and off, I sometimes get a copy of Malaysian Tatler, and after browsing through some copies of Harpers Bazaar, I’m thinking of adding that to my list too. There’s also a new magazine that was launched recently…Style or something or other. It’s buried somewhere beneath my whole pile of mags, too lazy to excavate it to find out the title.
With at least nine magazines every month, I wonder why I still complain that I have nothing to read at home?? *grin*
How bout you? What’s YOUR monthly magazine must-buys? Any other magazines to recommend? Do list it on your blog or in my comment box! ![]()

I read everything online because I’m too cheap to buy hard copies
I’d recently started buying bridal magazines, though. BLUHRDEE pricey, I might add!
The Cow came home recently and brought along a copy of WHO. It was interesting to while time away during tv commercials. Oh, you know guys who claim they don’t read such mags? LIARS! Housemate claimed loudly he doesn’t read, then 2mins later he said,”CHEH, no naked pics?”

you have to add harpers bazaar to the list! i personally think it’s the best malaysian fashion mag today……i don’t really fancy cleo or any other malaysian mags actually. i’ll read them when they’re around (like at your place!) but won’t buy them.
for me my other must have would be yoga journal and occasionally another health & fitness mag.
used to buy UK vogue every month too (don’t like US vogue but maybe i’m just not used to it) but it’s now an occasional buy for me too, since it’s becoming less relevant…..but it does keep me informed on the latest trends.
wah, damn long my reply.

I’m a magazine freak too but mainly food mags like delicious, flavours, gourmet and bbc good food. Must admit the new Hello mag looks good and pretty affordable too at only RM6.90.

oh this post i must reply since i am such a magazine hoarder…
monthly must reads (if not feel incomplete)
- InStyle (US)
- InsideOut (australia) (love home decor mags! but not kl ones - not nice)
- HomeDecor (australia)
- Digital Camera (MY) (i just buy it but never really practice it!)
- Bazaar (SG if I can get it or just MY then)
i’ll sometimes get vogue or elle sg. always tempted to get vogue living, martha stewart, other foodie/home decor mags but resist since mag prices here are ridiculously expensive. US Instyle only cost 3.99 (cheaper with subscription) and here it’s 18.50 or 22.50 (depending on exchange rate fluctuation)
the rest of the local mags I get at work *grin*

Geekchic: I love bridal magazines! I sometimes still buy them…*shy*…just to look at the lovely piccies!
Carrot: Hmm…might at Harpers to my list then! No to Oprah though…am not a big fan…
Boo_licious: I love food mags…but it’s just a waste of money for me to buy them cause I’ll never end up using the recipes in there…*grin* Which also means I should stop buying cookbooks too!
We used to buy alot of home decor mags when we were renovating our apartment. Maybe will start again in two years time, eh? *wink*
Mvo: InStyle is nice! But quite expensive…
