After doing a write up about our visit to Rasta food court today, I kept on thinking about the yummy mushroom sauce that we ended up going back there again for dinner with M and her colleague (M, is his name Irwin or Erwin? Nevermind, for now, he shall be ‘The Colleague’… ).

Four people means more food, which means more piccies! Whee!

Here goes:

Beef, chicken and rabbit satay (ok, no brickbats please…I only ate the chicken satay!). Love love love the peanut sauce!

Grilled chicken tenderloin burger…’twas good!
img_1357.jpg

I think this was called Mozz burger or something. M said it was nice!
img_1355.jpg

Mee bandung…hubby said he’d had better ones at Pandan Leaf @ 1 Utama.
img_1361.jpg

Sauteed mushrooms…shitake, enoki, etc. Pretty good, if not for the pepper…
img_1363.jpg

Rosti without the bratwurst. Unfortunately, this was served without the sauce that came with the one hubby ordered on Sunday (with bratwurst), so it abit dry, though I did sacrifice offer my mushroom sauce as a replacement!
img_1365.jpg

Nasi lemak. The Colleague wasn’t feeling full enough (he’s a growing boy, afterall!), so he decided a plate of nasi lemak was in order. Apparently, the sambal wasn’t very good.
img_1367.jpg

And finally, we had waffles with bananas and chocolate spread for dessert. This was surprisingly good, and it filled the last tiny little space that was left in our tummies!

The only thing I really disliked about the food court is the drinks! With exception for my warm mango juice, the rest of the drinks were apparently very very sweet. And the lin chee kang that hubby ordered had extra ingredients in it…ants!!

Oh well, can’t expect everything to be perfect…at least the food is good, so next time, just bring your own drinks!

Drinks - we had the carrot juice without milk which was pretty good. The waffles look so wicked that I want to try some tonite! Ah, the mozza burger which one of the readers said is a must try - thxs for the pixs.

    Mozza Killer (or Killa?) Burger!

It’s gooood - beef patty, onions (not caramelised unfortunately!), lettuce, cheese, beef bacon, fried egg!

Warm mango juice? Supposed to be warm or they didn’t put in ice?? Err…really got rabbit satay ar?? Kesiannya..

ooh the satay looks so yummy and the waffles with bananas and chocolate spread looks sinful but I doubt I can ever give it a miss if I were there!

The drinks at the Kopi place across from Azim’s Burger Shack are better, although they’re a little pricier. Waffles look so good, but if I go there, it’d be my 2nd time this week and soon they would have to issue a loyalty card to me.

Boo_licious: The waffles are good! Plenty of bananas, as you can see. Hey, thanks to you too, for the recommendation!

M: Ooo…caramelised onions would’ve been nice! You should try the rosti next time, it comes with caramelised onions!

Precious Pea: Believe it or not, it was warm at the bottom with ice floating on top. I swear it was cordial, not freshly squeezed mango juice. Haha…and yes, got rabbit satay, which we, as really bad friends, urged M to try (she has a rabbit)…

Msfairface: Yup, both were good. Like Boo said, the chicken satay had the chicken skin left on…sinful, but good!

Lyrical Lemongrass: Do they only serve coffee? I don’t drink coffee, unfortunately…so it’s either BYO or warm fruit juice for me… Hey, considering your reviews are helping them to advertise, you should be getting a free meal by now!

sooyin, I ordered my very nice tasting limau juice (see pic on my blog) from that Kopi place, so I guess they do some juices too. The lime juice was one of the best I had ever tasted, but at RM4 per glass, it was rather expensive. I still order it anyway coz it’s so addictive. Free meal? hahaha. Those guys don’t even know I exist! Sigh.

    RABBIT?!?!?!?!?! sooyin!!! no!!!!

  9. Comment by Tsu Lin on 20 April 2007 @ 6:15 pm

Sorry M, but I think rabbit satay is seriously yummy too!

  10. Comment by sooyin on 22 April 2007 @ 11:25 am

Lyrical Lemongrass: Haha…yeah, RM4 is pretty expensive! I’ll keep the lime juice in mind the next time we go there…

Carrot: I didn’t eat la…go scold my husband instead…

Tsu Lin: Hahah…I think Bucky isn’t gonna like you much now…
