A bloodcurdling scream
Yes…if you heard someone screaming “Bloodsuckerssss” three times at about 10+pm…
That was probably me.
I just submitted my taxes.

If it makes you feel any better, taxes are just a part of life here in Australia. Most people pay taxes as high as 35% effective rate here MONTHLY. After a while, we just stopped cursing and start accepting….

Well, our salaries also get deducted every month as well, though not as high as 35% *phew*. For some of us, the monthly deductions are still not enough, though…so in the end, we still owe the IRB $$$. Yeah, I suppose it’s a part of life, painful as it may be!

Well, I’ve paid Malaysian and I’ve paid Australian taxes. Sure, it’s painful to lose more than 1/3 of your income every month but at least I see good roads, good transportation system, good libraries. Can’t bloody say the same about this stupid shit hole, honestly.
Here, we get lovely roads with potholes so that it ruins our cars so that we change our lousy national cars every so often so that the government can make more money out of us. it’s a conspiracy, i tell you.
if not how you think they can keep those morons employed at JKR and proton?

Geekchic: Yup, that’s why I find it painful paying taxes…coz I don’t see my money being put to good use. Holding lavish dinners, sending astronauts to make teh tarik in space, employing people in the government who know only how to spout rubbish, supporting Mat Rempits cannot be considered as ‘good use’.
