Breakfast at Boon’s
BY invited the gang over to his new apartment at Subang for breakfast this morning. We woke up at 8am (quite a feat on a public holiday!) to go to the TTDI dry market to buy some fruits before driving to Subang. We arrived at BY’s place at about 9.45am to find both him and ES busy cooking the sausages already.
I semi-helped with the pancake batter and grilled bananas, and left the rest to the guys though I did pop into the kitchen now and then to drop some sarcastic comments…
WL, WS & M arrived later with bacon and mushrooms, and by 11+, breakfast was ready, and what a feast we had! Eggs, mushrooms, pancakes, bacon, sausages, grilled bananas, coffee, fruit juice, fruits, oh my!
Plus wine and cheese too! Needless to say, we ate till we were stuffed…
BY’s apartment is really nice and cheery, and with sunlight streaming in, music in the background, great food, great company and lots of laughter all around (some at my expense…ahem), I can’t think of a better way to spend my holiday!
Thanks, BY, for hosting such a lovely breakfast…

Hey EK and SY… Thanks so much for coming. I really enjoyed it too… sometimes I think it’s just more fun to hang out at each others’ places, instead of restaurants and cafes. You guys are welcome anytime, so next time you’re around the area, give us a call…

Boon: Agree with the hanging out at home vs. cafes!
Pixel: *groan* Please don’t remind me…
Tsu Lin: Yummy yummy indeed!
Siongee: Grilled bananas? No recipe! Just drop a knob of butter onto the pan, cut the bananas into half lengthwise, sprinkle some sugar and fry till soft…easy peasy!
