I finally met the chic geek
With regards to this post and this one, the person I met in Ipoh was no other than….Geekchic herself!
She’s the first blogger I’ve ever met (friends who blog notwithstanding la), and I’m glad we finally got the chance to meet up! I was nervous, of course…I’m not very much of a people person, so what happens if we have nothing to talk about face-to-face? Well, turns out I had nothing to worry about…I was in the company of a smart and articulate person who immediately understood what I meant when I talked about my feelings regarding work and life in Malaysia in general. Sure, there were pockets of awkwardness that comes from a first meeting, but overall, the one and a half hours we spent at the (blissfully) air-conditioned room at Ipoh Swimming Club went by fast, too fast…and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye!
As she doesn’t want to reveal her face, posting the photo we took together would be pointless since it’ll be only a picture of me… 
But I’ll say this though…she has gorgeous hair and a knack for natural looking make-up!
