I opened the door on Saturday afternoon to find M with a lovely box of mini cupcakes from Cuppacakes…my belated birthday present since she couldn’t get the flying monkeys to come last week (inside joke!).

There were 49 mini cupcakes all decorated in shades of pink, white and silver in a white box with a pink ribbon tied around it…so girly and gorgeous!

I brought it to the coffee table and immediately ran to get my camera…what a perfect photo op!

We must’ve spent close to an hour taking photos of the cupcakes from different angles, bringing out ‘props’ from the kitchen to further…err…enhance…the pics! S, who came later, even got roped into posing…!

We ended the photo taking session the best way it should end…by eating the yummy cupcakes ourselves!

Anyone been there yet? I saw it when I was there on Saturday and it looks pretty nice…has an ‘overseas’ vibe that I really like!

After reading about this at WMW’s blog today, I found myself spending quite some time at the site doodling and scribbling on the ‘canvas’…it was actually quite therapeutic, dragging my mouse up and down, left and right, creating multicolour blobs!

As I’m not very artistically-inclined, I ended up with this instead…perhaps not really in the spirit of Jackson Pollock’s abstract art, but it was fun nevertheless!

Have a try and see what you come up with!

Hint: Press ’spacebar’ to clear your canvas, and click your mouse to change colours (the colours appear to be random!)
