Food review: King Crab, visit 2

Hubby and I went back to King Crab for dinner tonight. Although I really really wanted to order the salted egg yolk squid, the fact that it’ll probably go straight to my hips kinda made me change my mind!
We ended up ordering the following…
BBQ prawns, which were fresh and succulent…
Stir fried yau mak with garlic…this was abit too salty…
Pork belly with salted fish…I found it quite spicy (which means it’s just a bit spicy for normal people…hehe…). Nevertheless, it’s pretty tasty, although I still prefer the one at Ka Soh…
Lastly…BBQ lamb. Now, this was really good. How did I know? I tried some! Yes, I tried lamb for the 3rd time in my life… 
The thing I really liked about the lamb was that it didn’t have that gamey taste. It was perfectly cooked, still tender and juicy…thumbs up!
I finished off the meal with an ice cold glass of limau kasturi (sour plum and lime)…ahhhh….

only prawns as seafood?? hmm this list of dishes looks different from all the other floggers choice..omg..i m so spoilt for choice now!

Lotsofcravings: Didn’t order crabs coz I’m usually too lazy and impatient to sit there and slowly dig and scrape out all the meat…
Ya, I know, abit funny…go King Crab and just order prawns…haha…but hey, the lamb was pretty good, eh…

Been to King Crab numerous times and usually order the same food over and over again. I didn’t even know they have lamb. Now I guess there is a reason for me to go back to try something different.

Precious Pea: Haha…I’m like that too, actually! Just in case a new dish isn’t nice…
MeiyeN: Yup, the lamb is nice…and this is coming from a person who has refused to eat lamb all her life!
Of course, it can then be argued that if I’ve only eaten lamb twice before this time…how would I know it’s nice, right?
