Another class on weaving using nylon thread. This time, instead of using a metal loop to thread the pendant through the cord, we used crystals instead…kinda nice for a change…

A class combining weaving with wire and headpins…not one of my favourite ones…as some of you might have noticed, I’m not a big fan on weaving…*grin*…

The necklace I’d originally learnt how to make in this class has been dismantled coz I wanted the chain links for another project. For the sake of continuity, I’m still publishing this post…will update it with pics once I’ve bought extra chain links to replace the ones I…urm…stole… ![]()
We learnt how to make earrings using a wigjig for this class…not as easy as it originally looked. Derek also taught us the freehand method and personally, I prefer the latter even though it doesn’t come out as symmetrical as using the wigjig…it’s just that I prefer the feel of working with the pliers and wire…
